Krone EasyCollect FP for third-party brands

The tried and tested principle of the continuously running collector works as follows: the maize stalks are grouped and guided past fixed blades, cut off and fed lengthwise into the pre-compression rollers and the chopping assembly. The lengthwise entry improves chopping precision and significantly reduces the proportion of overlengths, forming the basis for high-quality silage and successful feed. With collector speed adjustment included as standard, consistent transfer of the maize plants into the intake rollers is guaranteed in all conditions and with all cut lengths.
Another benefit of the EasyCollect corn head: thanks to its innova-tive collector principle, Krone has been able to considerably reduce the number of different components and drives compared to conventional corn heads. The added benefits for the farmer are a slimline design, excellent handling and significantly lower power input compared to other suppliers on the market. It also enables forage harvesters in the low power range to be fitted with wide headers. Depending on the type of forage harvester, the EasyCollect can be equipped with optional active ground contour following and an automatic steering system. The tangible benefits of these options are consistent stubble height and much less operator stress.
The variable width EasyCollect corn head from Krone is available in working widths of 4.5m, 6m, 7.5m and 9m (6, 8, 10 and 12 rows). Full details of the current choice of specifications and op-tions for adapting EasyCollect to third-party brands are available from all Krone dealerships.
