Krone joins forces with axle manufacturer Gigant
Boosting efficiency of purchasing, manufacturing and R&D
Trenkamp & Gehle is a medium-sized and family-run company that is based in the north German town of Dinklage. The company looks back on more than 60 successful years in the utility vehicle market and at more than 40 years as a supplier of axle assemblies for Krone's commercial trailers. Its product line ranges from lightweight 5.5-7.0t axles to heavy-duty and semi-trailer axle assemblies. Courtesy of their robust design and build, these axles present excellent solutions for agricultural equipment as well. The company’s product range already offers the super lightweight and low-maintenance ‘Euro’ axle for standard semi trailers in the utility vehicle sector, which features disc and drum brakes as well as compact bearings.
Forged by two family-run companies that are both based in the Federal State of Lower Saxony, this new alliance is a clear statement of commitment to the north German region.
